Danica is a UK based illustrator specialising in children's books. She hails from the lush landscapes of Goa, India. This profoundly influences her illustrations, which are infused with a deep personal connection to the ethnic intricacies and cultures of her homeland.

 

She completed an MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art in 2020 and largely enjoys communicating non-fiction narratives through visual storytelling. A large focus of her work is on educating the reader by communicating research and complex concepts through illustration.

 

She is passionate about representing diversity while advocating for social and environmental causes. She now lives in the United Kingdom with her husband and works as an illustrator, educator and a designer.
